This Privacy Policy explains what information Caliskaner Water Technologies, Inc. (“CWT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is provided for general information and is not legal advice.
This policy applies to information we collect through this website. It does not cover information you provide to us outside the website (for example, in the course of a business engagement), or the practices of any third-party websites we link to.
You can browse this site without creating an account or telling us who you are. We collect personal information in two ways: information you actively submit through our forms, and limited technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit (described below).
Contact inquiries. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic of your inquiry, the message you write, and - if you provide it - your organization.
Job applications. When you apply through our Careers page, we collect your name, email address, and - if you provide them - your phone number, area of interest, a link you supply (such as a portfolio or LinkedIn profile), a message, and any résumé/CV file you upload. You are asked to confirm your consent before submitting an application.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers process a visitor’s IP address as part of delivering pages and protecting our forms against abuse (for example, rate limiting). We do not use this to build a profile of you.
Usage analytics. We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) to understand how the site is used in aggregate - for example, which pages are viewed and which links or calls-to-action are clicked. This includes recording when a contact or job-application form is submitted (for a contact inquiry, the selected topic is included as context). This analytics does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and is not used to build an individual profile of you.

This website does not set cookies for ordinary visitors and does not use third-party advertising trackers. A secure session cookie is used only when a staff member signs in to the private administrative area of the site; it is strictly necessary for that sign-in to work.
For analytics we use Umami, a privacy-friendly tool that we host ourselves on our own domain. It measures aggregate page views and interaction events (see “Usage analytics” above) without setting cookies, without tracking you across other websites, and without building an individual profile of you.

Contact inquiries and job applications are stored in our database, and uploaded résumé/CV files are stored in private storage that is accessible only to authorized CWT staff. We host this data on Amazon Web Services in the United States (Northern California region) and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or evaluate your application, and thereafter only as reasonably necessary for our legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below).
