Inside the tour
In March 2025, Caliskaner Water Technologies hosted a workshop and technical site tour with the Water Research Foundation in Davis and at the Linda County Water District Wastewater Treatment Plant in Olivehurst. Representatives from SFPUC, SacSewer, LASAN, LACSD, SVCW, NYDEP, and EMWD, along with Prof. George Tchobanoglous, participated in the event series. Workshop discussions allowed participants to share experiences with primary and secondary treatment and biosolids management at different facilities, as well as future roadmaps for meeting current and upcoming regulatory requirements. The group also toured CWT's demonstration site at Linda County WWTP, where multiple advanced primary and secondary treatment technologies and biosolids thickening technologies are installed and demonstrated. Attendees observed the operation of the technologies and how they are integrated with existing conventional processes.
