Inside the tour
In June 2025, Caliskaner Water Technologies (CWT) hosted a technical seminar and site tour focused on innovative nutrient removal technologies in collaboration with the Bay Area Clean Water Agency (BACWA) and HDR, Inc. More than 40 representatives from public utilities, public agencies, and engineering firms attended the event and visited CWT's demonstration site at Linda County WWTP. Participating organizations included Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District, Napa Sanitation District, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, City of Benicia, West County Wastewater, City of San Leandro, City of Palo Alto, Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, California Association of Sanitation Agencies, and the California State Water Resources Control Board. The event showcased advanced primary and secondary treatment technologies and allowed attendees to learn about treatment principles, performance under real-world conditions, and operation and maintenance requirements.
